About the people behind StopNYRI.com
Our goal and how
we plan to reach it

StopNYRI.com

What we do: StopNYRI.com formed in May 2006 as a civic-action component of the Stop NYRI coalition. Our goal is to make it possible for thousands of concerned citizens to act quickly, and in unison, in the fight against NYRI.

How we do it: Via a tightly focused website and email initiative that drives home the simple idea "What you can do today." StopNYRI.com members receive concise, prioritized actions (what to do and, in a few sentences, why, with links to more information for those who want it). We are reaching out to every town affected by the NYRI proposal, as well as to individuals and groups nationwide who may be inclined to join our effort.

Who sets the agenda: We work in collaboration with the groups and legislators spearheading the Stop NYRI movement. We also welcome your suggestions.

Who we are: StopNYRI.com is a team of editors, graphic designers, computer programmers and educators. We are based in Cochecton, NY (Sullivan County). If you are interested in helping us to grow our membership or would like to know more about us, here's how to reach us:
